A Costa Natura Community Website

Naturist Community

A community of homeowners on the coast of Andalusia with Mediterranean gardens and views to the coast of Africa.

Ceres established for mortals the growing of grain, and Bacchus¹ the juice of vine-born grape. Yet, without these things, life would still have endured - even this day, it is said, some people live without them. But, man's well-being is impossible without a breast all free; wherefore, the more man doth justly seem to us a god.”

Lucretius, “On the Nature of Things”, Book V, lines 19-25

  1. It is believed that the Romans called their province in modern-day Portugal as “Lusitania”, in reference to the games and/or fury of Bacchus, that were performed by its Celtic inhabitants. The adjacent Roman province of “Hispania” might have been named so becuase the Phoenecians had previously observed that it contained a lot of rabbits, which they thought appeared similar to hyraxes.

Live, as if you were living already for the second time; and, as if you had acted the first time as wrongly as you are about to act now.” - Viktor Frankl
